If you wish to celebrate your child’s birthday in the daycare, you must do so in collaboration with the administration. All candy and treats will be examined by the manager to insure that they are free of allergens, and all this will be distributed to the children by the staff.

Moreover, any food item which you bring to the daycare for your child must be examined by a staff member to insure the absence of nuts and other allergens. A common mistake is “Honey NUT Cheerios”. Extreme caution is required as some foods may cause extreme allergic reaction to another child, which can even cause death.

Any food or candy found in a child’s pocket or containing an allergen (i.e. nuts) will be immediately destroyed and thrown away outside the daycare.
