The administration of the daycare is extremely upset with the chaotic conditions of the corridors of the daycare between the hours of 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm.  

Some parents have adopted the approach of arriving at the daycare, taking their child out of the classroom, and spending a long period of time in the corridors chit-chatting while their children are running around the corridors, unsupervised and out of control. 

The administration has noted several incidents where children were left unattended by their parents and have entered classrooms, injured other children, went into restricted and dangerous areas, and overall disturbed the natural course of operations of the daycare. 

-          From the moment you take your child out of the classroom, you are responsible to keep your child with you, and to supervise your child. 

-          It is advisable that you take your child out of the classroom only at the moment you are ready to leave the daycare, after having completed all chit-chatting, consultation with educators or management, payment or other parental tasks. (and yes, this means that if you exceed your allotted 10 hours or pass the closing time, this care is at your expense). 

-          As space is limited, we ask parents to retrieve their child from the classroom only when they are ready to leave, promptly dress the child and exit the daycare to allow for the smooth transit in the corridors during these peak hours.

The administration would like to make it clear that leaving your children unattended is negligent and dangerous for your child and for the other children in the daycare, and is in violation of the daycare’s rules. Such behavior will not be tolerated, and this is reason for the administration to cancel the contract of any parent who is neglecting to supervise their child in the corridors. 

The administration of the daycare would like the parents to know that as of today, two contracts have been canceled for this issue, and that the administration will not hesitate to cancel other contracts of parents who are negligent in this fashion hence putting in question the safety and security of the children of the daycare.
