Memo to Parents

Sugar Shack

Dear parents,

As is traditional this time of year, our daycare will be going to the sugar shack at Mont St-Grégoire, known as ¨La Goudrelle¨ on Wednesday, March 26^th, 2008.

 “La Goudrelle” Sugar Shack is located at 136 chemin du Sous-Bois in Mont St-Grégoire. For more information you may visit their website at www.goudrelle .com.

The excursion includes:

·                    The school bus ride to and from the sugar shack

·                    A tour on a “one horse open sleigh”

·                    Visit to the petting farm

·                    A very generous traditional Québecois meal ( non pork alternatives will be available)

·                    Snack

·                    Dancing

·                    The famous “tire d’érable”

The participants must arrive at the daycare at 7:30 a.m. as the departure time will be at approximately 8:00 a.m. (traffic permitting).

The departure from Mont St-Grégoire will be at 3:00 p.m. and the return to the daycare is expected around 4:00 p.m.  Please take note that the schedule may vary according to traffic.  All individuals who arrive late or are absent will not be refunded.

The cost of this trip is $15.00 per person.  Please complete, sign and return this form before Friday, March 14^th, 2008.
